B.C. exported $2.5 billion worth of agriculture, fish and seafood products to over 135 different countries in 2010.

Eighty-eight percent ($2.2 billion) of the total export value was generated by our top five markets – the United States, Japan, China, Hong Kong and South Korea.

Export data provided in this analysis refers to B.C. Domestic Exports, not B.C. Origin Exports (i.e. just products grown in BC). Domestic export data includes any products that have been produced or manufactured in B.C. as well as any products that have been imported and then materially transformed or substantially enhanced in value in B.C. before being exported.
